I believe art should be a part of everyones everyday experience. I have worked on several projects in the public space.
This electricity substation stands at the entrance to a residential street. The building was unloved, with the wall facing the street being constantly defaced with graffitied.

The electricity company welcomed the chance to improve the substation and after a dialogue my suggestion was approved. They provided me with materials, tools and safety equipment.
After 3 years the building remains without graffiti.
I was commissioned by the faculty to create an image thats greets visitors to the new school grounds. The concept is based on different fabrics from around the world reflects the international aspect of the school. The student participated in the early phase by submitting patterns and textures from their home countries.
The mural is printed on to six sheets of perspex
